Experts think more exposure to pollen equals more chances to be sensitized, which equals more allergies. So someone in Illinois, for example, might be seeing bigger changes in pollen than somebody in Texas – although Texas gets blasted with pollen, too.

I had a nice trip, but I wouldn't spend the money to stay at the pink hotel again. I will be back to visit the famous bar but will stay somewhere more affordable. Carly CaramannaOverall, I spent $530 on my one-night stay at The Royal Hawaiian, and I don't think I can justify staying there again. Maybe I would've felt differently if I'd stayed in the other section of the hotel, the Mailani Tower. I'll definitely return to The Royal Hawaiian's bar for mai tais, but I won't be staying again as an overnight guest.

A long discredited, arcane 150-year-old law is back in the news in 2024, and that should terrify anyone who supports reproductive freedom. Anti-abortion activists like to bring up the Comstock Act because one of its clauses prohibits sending through the mail “every article, instrument, substance, drug, medicine or thing” that could possibly lead to an abortion. That could effectively make abortion impossible to access even in places like Minnesota, which has affirmatively protected a woman’s right to choose by passing reproductive freedom laws. In response, I’m prepared to fight back — including by introducing legislation to take away the Comstock Act as a tool to limit reproductive freedom. The Comstock Act hasn’t been broadly enforced since the 1930s.

A British Airways pilot said a drone flew "extremely close" to their aircraft at 9,600 feet. The Airbus A321 was flying at 250 mph when the drone was spotted, the MailOnline reported. An Airprox report said it was categorized as a high-risk incident.
